10 Concrete Ways to Protect Transgender Students in High School and College

This seminar will provide tangible actions for school staff to support transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive high school and college students to navigate the current political landscape and find resources to support their educational journey. Hear from Sam, a transgender student who transitioned while in high school and now works in college admissions, along with his mom, Shannon, who was his high school counselor. Also joining the conversation is Ted from the Human Rights Campaign. Walk away with a better understanding of concrete action steps to empower transgender students and their families navigate the shift from high school to college.
