Has your college made the decision to move to test-optional admission this fall?  Many colleges are grappling with the implications of making a speedy transition to test-optional admission practices.  To complicate matters even further, the transcript evaluation process has been made more difficult by the widespread practice of pass/fail grading adopted by most high schools during the spring of 2020. 

The good news is that there are many colleges who have a long tradition of test-optional admission policies.  These institutions have valuable insights into the considerations and challenges of this approach. 

In response, NACAC is hosting the Transitioning to Test Optional Forum August 20-21.  During the Forum, you will hear from a variety of institutions about their test-optional policies and best practices.  In addition, members from NACAC's Task Force on Standardized Admission Testing for International and US students will share recommendations from the newly released report. Plus researchers will share studies on test-optional policies and access.
